Religious Activities
All students attend a weekly student Mass each Friday at 8:30 A.M. A student Mass is also scheduled for all Holy Days that fall on a school day.

Students in grades 3 through 8 share in preparing readings and petitions. Students serve as altar servers. The student choir sings at each of the student Masses and at the Family Liturgy on every 3rd Sunday.

Students also participate in stewardship. Each First Friday the students are given an envelope for them to bring a small donation for a collection during Mass. The collection is used for charities such as the Heifer International. Columban Missions, Holy Childhood, etc.

Each third Friday students bring food items for the Colusa County Food Closet. These are presented during Mass.

Students also participate in special prayer services throughout the school year. During the month of October they pray the Rosary. During Lent, Stations of the Cross are followed weekly with all students.

Students in second grade prepare for their First Communion and students in seventh and eighth prepare for Confirmation.

Religion text books used in the school are approved by the Bishop of the Diocese and the Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
